Set deep within the breathtaking Yorkshire Dales, this historic venue sits nestled in the shadow of the magnificent 15th-century Barden Tower ruins, offering an incredibly romantic and timeless backdrop for our celebration.

Arrival of Guests
Guests arrive at the venue. The Oak Room bar will be open for early arrivals to enjoy a welcome drink before the ceremony begins.
Take Your Seats
Guests will be invited to take their seats in the Chapel. Music will be playing, please get comfortable.
The Ceremony
The main event. We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony, please keep devices tucked away.
Drinks & Canapés
The ceremony concludes! It's time for a celebratory glass of fizz, group photos, and canapés to be served upstairs in the Oak Room.
The Wedding Breakfast
Guests to re-enter the Chapel for speeches, a three-course meal and plenty of wine.
Evening Reception
Evening guests arrive, the cake is cut, and our first dance begins.
Evening Meal
Evening food is served.
Carriages
Doors close. Time to say goodnight and head to our hotels after an incredible day.

Getting There
Travel Arrangements
By Road
From Sheffield (~1h 45m)
Take the M1 North, continuing up to Bypass Leeds toward the A650 past Bradford. Follow signs through Keighley and up toward Skipton, breaking off onto the rural lines toward Barden.
From Manchester (~1h 30m)
Head east out of the city across the M62, breaking North onto the M66 / A56 up through Lancashire. This feeds you directly into the gateway of Skipton, bypassing heavy city congestion points.
From Doncaster (~1h 20m)
Head northwest out of the city via the A1(M) North, then merge west onto the M62 toward Leeds. Take the M1 North exit, then follow the A650 past Bradford and Keighley straight up into the gateway of Skipton.
On-Site Parking: The Priests House features a dedicated, free private guest car park situated directly at the base of the Barden Tower ruins. Cars can be left safely overnight but must be collected by 10:00 AM the following morning.
By Rail & Cab
The Nearest Stations
Book your train tickets directly to Skipton Railway Station (~12 minutes from the venue) or Ilkley Station (~15 minutes away). Both hubs connect smoothly via a quick change at Leeds from both Manchester Piccadilly and Sheffield.
Critical Taxi Notice
Because Barden Tower sits deep inside the rural Yorkshire Dales, taxis do not operate on standby. You cannot hail an Uber or find an unscheduled car at the end of the evening. You must pre-book your return transfers to your hotel or station weeks in advance.

Guest Information
Dress Code
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. The dress code is Black Tie Optional. Ladies, feel free to wear floor-length or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen, a tuxedo or dark formal suit and tie is perfect.
Unplugged Ceremony
We invite you to be fully present with us during our ceremony. Please kindly turn off all phones and cameras during the ceremony. We have hired an incredible photographer to capture these moments, and we promise to share all the photos with you after the wedding!
